Transfer of experience to Moldova

BBT employees shared the experience of building trails in Moldova! BBT Specialists Roman Mikhailov and Angelina Uzhova took part in the Volunteer camp in Rîşcova International Volunteer Exchange Program. The organizers are NGOs from Berlin “Decembrists” and NGOs from Chisinau “Ecovisio”. A volunteer program for the international exchange of experience was held from October 11 to 19 in the village of Ryshkova. Geography of participants: Russia Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and Germany. The aim of the project was to equip the trail in a local park near the village of Ryshkova. During the project, they managed to scout and build 143 meters of a new trail, scout a couple of other trails, clear about 800 meters of the trail (which are essentially old forest roads), begin installing navigation poles and marking on the new trail. This forest is considered a national park, but in fact it is a leshoz. There is firewood and a certain forest restoration program. During reconnaissance, participants saw a red lake, quarter pillars of foresters, a rare grove of giant poplars, a Yiwu patriarch and an old lost stork well. These objects represent points of interest on the future trail. BBT specialists made a presentation of # BBT activities, types of paths and construction technologies, and also helped to think over the future system of paths and their arrangement. Thanks to the organizers, Decembrists and Ecovisio, for the invitation and work!
