The project on Shumilikha was completed

On July 29, one of our farthest projects was completed - “The Country of the Barguzin Sable,” which took place on the territory of the Barguzinsky Reserve at the mouth of the Shumilikha River. The work on the project was not easy - at first the group had to make out piles of burnt cedar dwarf elf and fallen trees that appeared there after a forest fire in 2015. And only then the volunteers were able to begin the construction of the serpentine on the mountain. But despite all the difficulties, the guys completed the planned work plan and successfully built 700 meters of serpentine on the route to one of the 7 wonders of Buryatia - the Waterfall on the Shumilikha River! In addition to work, the guys bathed every day in Lake Baikal, sunbathed, were friends and generally had a great time! Thanks to everyone for the work and the warm atmosphere on the project! This volunteer camp was held as part of the project “We Preserve Nature, Working for People,” which is implemented using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society provided by the Presidential Grants Fund
