To prepare yourselves for any kind of situation we recommend that you take a look at the following list of equipment or gear that you might want to bring with you to Russia.


Please remember that every one of our GBT projects is equipped

with a first-aid kit with all the basic medicinal supplies.

Backpacks
One large backpack—capacity 70-90 liters
One small pack—capacity 20-30 liters
A sleeping mat
A foam or inflatable mattress
Sleeping bag
We recommend the following:
• For summer projects: a sleeping
bag that is good for -5 degrees Celsius
• For fall projects: a sleeping bag
that is good for -10 degrees Celsius
Footwear
Rubber boots and/or hiking boots
Sandals or athletic walking shoes
Warm clothing
Warm hat
Warm jacket
Pullover sweater
Durable trousers
Long socks
Reusable utensils for food
Plastic cup or thermos
Reusable spoon/fork
Reusable bowl
Cutting knife
Bag to hold utensils
Toiletries
Tooth Brush
Tooth Paste
Larger towel
A good raincoat
Flashlights
Headlamp with backup batteries
A reserve power bank
Other electronic gadgets for charging cell phones;

We recommend that you take only eco-friendly soap and shampoo with you
Tent (optional)
The GBT supplies everyone with that 2-person tents. But you can bring your own personal tent, as long as it has enough layers to be rain-proof or moisture resistant
