Way to Peschanaya bay-1

Summer projects

Long-term goal of the project

Development of socially responsible and informative tourism through the construction of a coastal path to the popular tourist destination Peschanaya Bay.
Significance of this route: A pre-existing trail was destroyed by fires. In the summer of 2016, volunteers began restoring this route as part of the Eco-Action project, during which the corridor of the future trail was marked and cleared. In 2017, the BBT volunteer team began directly to build this trail. In the future, the trail will not only connect the settlements of Bolshoi Goloustnoye and Buguldeyka, but will also attract tourists, and this will enable local residents to offer accommodation, meals, sell souvenir products, and will contribute to the development of trade and transport services. The trail will reduce the burden on the environment and prevent trampling of plants and soil erosion. Trails also contribute to enhancing environmental literacy and community responsibility. Understanding the importance of nature conservation for their own business, people are beginning to take a more responsible attitude to the environment. Also, fewer people get lost along the way to Peschanaya Bay.

Preliminary scope of work: Clearing the corridor of the trail, building a new section of the trail, installing signs. Please note that you will need to carry your things, camp equipment and food to the project site (1.5-2 km).

There is always a team leader in the group - the team leader who organizes the work, and a translator that provides communication between the participants.

The average working day is 6 hours with a lunch break. Depending on the weather and the condition of the group, the team leader has the right to change the daily routine.
