Location
Irkutsk - Idiba Fall - Tumer Tologoi Fall (Olkhon Island) - Irkutsk
Project languages

Accommodation and meals
Workloads on the project: you will sometimes need to carry a backpack with your own things and common products. You will take one day walks. Also during the project we will perform a variety of physical work.

Free time: Bicycle rental is available in the village. We are also waiting for a Russian bath and an excursion to the northern part of the island.

We strongly advise you to familiarize yourself with the list of necessary equipment, information on tick-borne safety, as well as general information for BBT volunteers.

The group must have a leader organizing the work and a translator providing communication between the participants.

Please familiarize yourself with the climatic features of the Baikal region in early September in order to choose the right clothes and shoes. At this time, the temperature during the day can be +12 or 0 degrees (depending on the year), also at this time sometimes a strong wind blows! Therefore, it is imperative to have warm, non-blown clothing and waterproof shoes.

Conditions of accommodation and meals in Irkutsk: accommodation in Irkutsk on the last day is included in the cost of the project (participants will be booked in a hostel in the city center). Food in Irkutsk is not included in the project cost, as someone wants to eat in the dining room or cafe, and someone wants to cook on their own in the hostel's kitchen.

In case of unforeseen circumstances, BBT reserves the right to close the project or make changes to the program, after informing all participants.
