Volunteers set up a campground on the shore of Lake Baikal in the Emelyanikh valley. According to the duty schedule established by the team leader, the participants set up the camp and prepare food at the stake for the whole group. You can familiarize yourself with a sample menu.

Weekends and Loads on the project

On the first day of the project, volunteers will have to walk on foot with their personal equipment from Listvyanka to the Emelyanikha Pad (~ 6 km). On the last day of the volunteers' project, a 15-kilometer walk along the trail from Emelyanikh Paddy to the village of Bolshie Koty awaits.

During the work of volunteers, they are expected to move along the trail for a distance of 2-3 km, work with tools (shovels, picks, etc.), drag and drop logs, stones and other types of physical activity. Sometimes you will need to carry your things, camp equipment and food.

The volume of your backpack should be at least 70 liters. In connection with the peculiarities of the local climate, it is necessary to take a jacket from rain and wind, a warm sweater and trousers. Also pay attention to shoes - they should be comfortable, light and non-slip.

We strongly advise you to familiarize yourself with the list of necessary equipment, information on tick-borne safety, as well as general information for BBT volunteers.
